Five for Friday Valentine's Edition

Hello! Happy Saturday! I am linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for

fiveforfriday

I know I'm a little late, but I went to bed super early yesterday- and I will tell you why.

1. My husband took me to see Cinderella on Broadway on Valentine's Day! It was a wonderful show.  I'm a theater girl, (hence, all the Reader's Theaters I do) and Cinderella is my favorite Disney movie.  So, put them together and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo, you have magic.  It was phenomenal show, even for previews.  If you're in the NYC area, I encourage you to check it out.  The entire ride home (while I wasn't yawningbecause it was 1:00 in the morning) I was scheming about how I could get my kids there.

2. I made chili from Hezzi-D's Books and Cooks.  It's award-winning!

3. My 3rd and 4th graders had a blast writing notes to their Secret Valentines.

My student who received this clue said indignantly, "What kind of clue is I like to play? EVERYONE LIKES TO PLAY!"

4. Then, we watched a Brainpop Jr. about how to address a letter and mailed off our letters.  A day later, they came in the mail. My students were so excited to find out who their Secret Valentines were!

5. Today I'm going to see Identity Thief and then to dinner with some girlfriends.  Hooray for a three-day weekend!
Don't you just love her?!?!

Have a great weekend!
